You Dare Ask Who Am I? – Katniss Everdeen

You dare ask who I am?
I am the one who would take chances with Gale
And go in the woods and hunt
You dare ask who I am?
I am the one who puts food on the table
Because my mother is to hurt to do it herself
You dare ask who I am?
I am the one whose father had a beautiful voice when he sings
But passed in a mine explosion
You dare ask who I am?
I am the one who save her sister
From a fight I know she wouldn’t be able to win
You dare ask who I am?
I am the one who caught the judge’s eye
Shooting the arrow right at their table when they paid no attention to me
You dare ask who I am?
I am the one who scored an 11 in the training course
You dare ask who I am?
I am the one who exploded the carrier tributes food
To see how long they would last
You dare ask who I am?
I am the one who made an alliance with Rue
You dare ask who I am?
I am the one who watched Rue die with my own eyes
You dare ask who I am?
I am the one who almost lost Peeta to blood poising
You dare ask who I am?
I am the one who was almost killed by Clove,
Until Thresh came and saved me
You dare ask who I am?
I am the one who found out that the barriers were poisoned
When Peeta and I saw Foxface dead
You dare ask who I am?
I am the one who killed Cato with one arrow
You dare ask who I am?
I am the one whose heart is split in two
Not knowing who to give it to
You dare ask who I am?
I am the one who WON the Hunger Games
You still dare to ask who I am?
I am Katniss Everdeen
